Experience Days Art Classes: Ice sculpting is an art form that has fast been growing in popularity over recent years, as more and more people have been completely amazed at just how beautiful and elaborate the ice sculptures can be. This 90 minute London ice sculpting class is a fantastic introduction to what is, quite literally, the coolest art form in the world! During your ice sculpting lesson, you and four of your friends will work on a 25kg block of ice, to create something beautiful. The ice sculpting class is a lot of fun and a great, unusual team building idea. This class caters for a minimum of five people, however should you need more spaces, this can be arranged without trouble. There is a lot to be said for getting in touch with our creativity; so many of us have forgotten how it feels to just engage our minds and focus on nothing more than creating beauty. Well, this 90 minute ice sculpting class gives you the opportunity to do just that! You will be thoroughly involved in all stages of the process, from coming up with an idea, to designing your sculpture and then actually making it, you are thoroughly invested in your 'baby'! A really fantastic experience, the ice sculpting class will stay with you long after the sculptures have melted away! Please note, while the ice sculpting class is based at a centre in London, the ice-masters are happy to travel throughout the UK to bring the art of ice sculpting to you! Once you and your group have arrived at the London ice sculpting studio (or the ice sculpting teachers have arrived at your chosen location), your expert sculptor will deliver a health and safety briefing and an introduction to the art, and practicalities, of ice sculpting. Next up is the design stage of your class, where teams will come up with a vision and a plan for a unique ice sculpture. Once you have designed the piece, you will begin to carve! The remainder of the class is spent turning your 25kg block of ice into a thing of beauty, with guidance and assistance from an expert sculptor throughout. At the end of the ice sculpting session, you will have your ice sculpture assessed before heading off - remember to take photos of your creation, so you will have a permanent reminder of your melting masterpiece! Ice sculpting classes are held on selected Saturdays throughout the year. The Ice sculpting studio can accommodate up to 100 people.
