Animal Experience Days: Judging by the photographs, you can guarantee an Alpaca Walk is going to be like no other countryside stroll you've ever experienced. These animals are curious beings and don't have the same obedience as dogs, so expect lots of stopping to nibble on the grass and the occasional sniff of your hair. Most of the time it feels like they are walking you! The experience takes place on a beautiful farm in the north Devon countryside, owned by a friendly couple who will happily show you around and introduce you to the various animals. Once you've been paired with your alpaca, your group will set off on an hour long trek through the flora and fauna, taking in the breath-taking views and getting to know your woolly companion. Back at the farm, you'll have the opportunity to meet the sheep and goats who also reside there, getting a chance to bottle-feed them and give them a little cuddle if you're lucky. Lambing season is January to April and baby goats make an appearance between April and October, perfect times to go!
