Water Experience Days: We've all done the usual sightseeing tour around London...but this is your chance to see the capital from a whole new perspective. With this 3 hour paddle boarding experience, you'll not only learn the basic skills and techniques needed to control your board, but will join your instructor for a guided trip along the river...an ideal trip for a group of friends to share.Upon arrival at your chosen departure point of either Kew Bridge, Paddington Basin or Putney Embankment, you'll be greeted by your group instructor and will start the session with a briefing on water safety. The practical part of the lesson will then begin with some land-based skills development and an introduction to techniques such as prone paddling, falling safely and self-rescuing. Then it's time to take to the water and get paddling. Once you've got a good grip on the basics, you'll head out for your water-based adventure. Depending on the route, you may pass some of London's landmarks, such as Little Venice, Fulham Football Club, Hammersmith Bridge or even Kew Gardens. You'll break for a quick cup of tea (or coffee) before returning to land. A fantastic break from the everyday sightseeing tour, this group SUP lesson and river trip is a fun way to exercise and a great way to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
