Off Road Experience Days: This private off-roading experience, in Skipton, will put any keen driver’s skills to the test. Choose from four mighty off-road vehicles, and tackle a course designed and built by Land Rover industry leaders! The experience takes place a short drive from Skipton, North Yorkshire. You can choose from four highly regarded 4x4s – the Land Rover Defender 90, Land Rover Defender 110, Mitsubishi L200, and Isuzu DMAX. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by your instructor, briefed and introduced to your chosen vehicle in the centre’s versatile driver training area. Once you’re feeling comfortable, it’s time to enter ‘The Valley’ – a purpose-built course, where you’ll negotiate obstacles like ‘the see-saws’ and ‘Banister’s banks’. Here, you can test your skills (and your nerve!) over steep slopes, deep ruts, mud and water, while your experienced instructor offers tips and advice alongside. Occasional off-roaders will be amazed at what they can achieve in just ninety minutes, and drivers of all abilities are sure to learn a thing or two!
