Sailing Experience Days: Master a new sport today with this incredible experience. Sailing is one of the oldest, most impressive ways to travel and where better to learn the basics than on a full days tuition course with a qualified instructor by your side. Explore the Solent's fabulous waters as you gain a full understanding of the boat and masts before discovering the skills and techniques to harnessing the winds power and controlling your speed and direction. Whether you're looking to begin a new hobby, or perhaps simply interested in celebrating that special occasion, this fantastic experience is perfect!The Full Day Sailing experience will begin with a safety briefing as you get kitted our in the necessary gear. Learn the basic skills and techniques of sailing from the qualified instructor before taking the wheel to have a go. Put the theory to practice as you guide the vessel along either Southampton or Solent waters and master the art of control. You will then break for lunch ashore (please note: lunch is not included), before beginning the afternoon session. Enjoy learning and practising even more technical manoeuvres as well as relaxing within the cockpit whilst the other participants take thier turn. Take in the stunning scenery as you sail along the coastline of Cowes or Southampton before returning to port and enjoying a glass of wine (for over 18s only) to toast the end of your experience. Please Note: Refreshments on-board the boat are included, however lunch is not.
