Cooking Experience Days: Being vegan is a life decision, and one which we salute you for, but sometimes the dietary constraints can seem to be a little restrictive - especially when it comes to sweet treats. With this 2 hour baking experience, we hope you'll leave with a new understanding of how baking ingredients and alternatives can be used to create some of the most delicious dessert dishes around. Hosted at a purpose-built group kitchen, your baking lesson will begin with a meet and greet from your friendly food-loving instructor, before it's time to get down to the business of baking. Throughout the session, you'll learn how to use ingredients to replace the butter, eggs and milk you would usually expect to find in baked-goods, to produce some wonderful vegan-friendly cakes. Whether you are trying your hand at some wonderfully nutty cookies, or banana cakes with coconut, your group instructor will have hints and tips which can be applied across a whole range of recipe ideas. If all this baking leaves you a little parched, you can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine plus a selection of soft drinks throughout the class.
