Cooking Experience Days: This fabulous two-hour cooking class will transport you to the sunny shores of the Mediterranean! The experience takes place in Islington, a short walk from Holloway Road tube station. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by the school’s resident tapas expert who’ll talk a bit about the famous Mediterranean diet—one of the world’s richest food cultures. Next, you’ll begin cooking a selection of tasty small plates, using the quality ingredients provided. Expect Spanish and North African favourites, like patatas bravas (potato in a spicy tomato sauce), gambas pil pil (prawns in garlic and chilli), lamb & beef kofta tagine, tzatziki and flatbreads. Don’t worry if you’re a kitchen novice either—your teacher will demonstrate every new technique, while giving you the full background on each dish. You’ll also learn to prepare key ingredients, sharpen your knife skills and even practice better kitchen organisation!
