They’ll then talk you through the Hurricane’s controls before directing you onto the rally track. Here, you’ll complete around 10 laps, practicing low grip driving techniques like power sliding, hydro handbrake initiation, weight transfer, Scandinavian flicks and brake steer. This introduction is followed by two 20-lap sessions on the faster ‘Rage Stage’, where you’ll fine-tune the skills you’ve learnt. Expert tuition is delivered throughout via the latest Bluetooth intercom technology in your helmet, and when the lesson concludes, you’ll swap seats with your instructor for five no-holds-barred passenger laps.
