Food and Drink Experience Days: This full day tour from Edinburgh takes you on an enlightening journey through Scotland’s whisky paradise. Visit two award-winning distilleries* and enjoy stunning views from the comfort of a luxury coach!
Tours depart from Edinburgh and follow a circular route through parts of the country renowned for their quality single malt and blended whiskies. Onboard the modern, air-conditioned coach, your knowledgeable guide will provide a commentary covering the history and culture of the area. Your first stop will be Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery, in Kinross, where you can take a two-hour whisky and chocolate tasting tour (£23) which includes samples of 12 and 18-year-old whiskies alongside locally sourced chocolates. Next, you’ll head to Aberfeldy for a spot of lunch before visiting Deanston Distillery, on the River Teith. This former cotton mill has been distilling whisky since the 1960s, and you’ve the opportunity to sample some of their finest (£13). After a wee dram or two, you’ll return to Edinburgh via Doune Castle—the perfect ending to a great day out.
